- Good gentles,
-
- I greatly enjoyed Yaakov's "Rialto Geek" quiz... I certainly qualify
- as one even though I've only been around for a little over two years.
- BECAUSE I've only been around on the net for a relatively short time
- I'd really appreciate it if some of the old timers would share some
- of the _history_ of the Rialto with the rest of us, things like:
-
- o When the SCA newsgroup first started
-
- o What it was originally called
-
- o How many original participants were there (and who?)
-
- o The time-frame of the name debate (ditto the 'bit of net' "badge")
-
- o Any "famous" folk who used to be Rialtans but are not now
-
- You get the idea... Enlighten those of us who weren't around from the
- very beginning about how things got started.
-
- Many thanks, good friends -- Bertram
