  13. The author of _The Care and Feeding of Spinning Wheels_, Karen Pauli,
  14. is indeed a member of the SCA.  She's known as Mistress Helva of Saxony
  15. and has been a Laurel for over 10 years.  She also makes whimsical
  16. dragons from bits of ribbon and sells ceramic pins of the various
  17. Midrealm awards and orders at Pennsic.  A wonderful lady and a 
  18. wonderful book -- highly recommended!
