- Just got mine back from the smith, I wanted it checked
- out as to safety. It has not been fired in over 40 years
- and had a cracked stock by the pistol grip area. Well I
- acquired and fitted a "new" military stock and leather
- sling. The only thing missing is a "hood" for the front
- sight and a bayonet. If anyone has one laying around
- from a sporterizing job that they dont need anymore would
- you drop me a line (either the hood or the bayonet).
- I don't have time for the show circuit so I thought I
- would try here first, Thanks.
- Also anyone have any pet loads for the 8mm, after going
- through the "Speer" reloading manual I have some nice
- alternatives and only need to fire the 2 boxes of factory
- ammo. I also acquired for xmas the Hornady twin die set,
- these are the first Hornady tools I have yet used, all
- my other stuff is RCBS and I like the way the Hornady die
- locking ring locks by tightening the collar instead of
- dinging up the threads the way the RCBS dies do. Is, in
- the nets opinion, Hornady "Good Stuff" or not :-) in com-
- parison with RCBS.
