  13. i got a recommendation that i should get the ASTRA A-100 as the backup to my
  14. SIG P226.  i want this backup to keep in the CAR and/or for general trip
  15. purposes.  i want to keep the SIG at home as a home defense gun, and not to be
  16. toted around too much.

  18. anyone have prior experience with the ASTRA?  it's supposed to be a clone of
  19. the SIG, but what about quality?  i don't necessarily need a gun with the same
  20. feel as the SIG.  i've shot several types of autoloaders and is fairly
  21. comfortable with all.  i would prefer some type of decocking type gun though
  22. so that i can keep a round in the chamber safely without the hammer being
  23. pulled back (like with the thumb safety on for 1911s).
