- #Could anyone give me an idea if the following is a reasonable
- #price for an HK-91:
- # Good overall condition(but not great)
- # Includes sling, bayonett, bipod, and one 20rnd mag.
- # They are asking $1000
-
- I have seen the prices of these vary from as low as $925 to over $1100.
- Looking at what you are getting though, I think it is a reasonable buy.
- First, be sure it is a real HK and not a Springfield SAR-8, and it is good
- enough condition.
-
- #From shows if the D/FW area:
-
- HK-91, 1 mag & sling = $950
- Bipod = $135 ($85 if plastic version)
- Bayonet = $ 40 ( not sure about this)
- Total = $1125
-
- One other thing you may wish to look for is a shell deflector. This runs
- around $30, and deflects shells from hitting your face if left-handed, and
- also protects them from being dented.
-
- #Also, is there anything in particular to look for on this gun
- #for problem areas?
-
- Make sure the sights are not dented, especially the rear one.
-
- # And finally, I think that there are two models
- # of this gun(A2 and A3?).
-
- One is for the fixed stock, the other is for a adjustable stock.
-
- # What are the differences and is one more desirable than the other?
-
- I prefer the fixed stock, but this is a personal preference.
