- Are there any good sites in NJ where there is a reasonable probability
- of seeing owls? I live near the great swamp and visit frequently, but I
- have only once seen an owl (in about 4 years!). Are there any better
- sites, am I just being unlucky, or am I there at the wrong time (usually
- in the late afternoon and just after sunset). The only owls I saw were
- a group of three, in the middle of the day, while I was paddling on the
- Passaic river near the swamp.
-
- Again I'm restricting this posting to NJ, so appologies if it escapes
- further.
