- Recently, someone posted e-mail about taking a bicycle on a domestic
- (USA) airline flight. There was a response to check the 1991 issues of
- BICYCLING magazine about specifications for travelling with a bicycle.
- I checked the magazine and found two good articles: "Boxing a Bike" (p.
- 89-90, Sept/Oct. 1991) and another on the "Unfriendly Skies" which was
- about bike fares on USA airline carriers domestic flights (p. 34-36, ?
- 1991).
-
- In January I will be flying to Tokyo, Japan on American Airlines. I am
- planning on taking my Trek Mt. bike with me because I will be living in
- Japan for one to two years. Does anyone have any information or
- experience on travelling international with a bike on American Airlines?
-
- Thanks,
-
- jeff
