- I've been looking for a mid-priced amp lately ($300 to $600). I've looked
- at the NAD 2100 and 2400, the Yamaha MX-460 and MX-630 and the Adcom 545 and
- 555. I was most impressed with the Yamaha MX-460. It soundly whipped the
- others in virtually every way except, perhaps, for raw power in the low end.
- This surprised me. I have heard many of you speak highly about the Adcoms.
- Have any of you listened to the Yamaha's and, if so, what did you think? Are
- there any other two-channel power-amps with level controls in this price range
- that you think I should investigate?
