  15. I use the ROTEL 855 CD player mostly for headphone listening, 
  16. both because i don't want to be bothered and my speakers are 
  17. not great ones. But because the Rotel DOESN'T have a headphone 
  18. out, i use the headphone jack of my Sherwood receiver. The
  19. ridiculous setting was from my naive idea to get a high-end 
  20. sound without being burned out. When my old amp(bought cheap 
  21. used) broke down, i bought that Sherwood receiver, thinking 
  22. that i mostly use headphones anyway, why push myself so hard 
  23. to buy expensive amps? But i recently realized that i am not 
  24. getting the real sound from the Rotel through the Sherwood's 
  25. headphone jack either. So I either upgrade my system around 
  26. the Rotel, OR let the Rotel go and get a reasonable CD player 
  27. which has a good headphone out, better than Sherwood's of course. 
  28. I've decided NOT to go the former. Have to resist it!

  30.  I guess i could ask $260, right? But i'll seriously consider
  31. offers around $240. I'll take care of shipping. Bought around August 
  32. 1991. Still under 5 year Warranty. With the original package.

  34.   Also, i would appreciate any suggestions on CD players around
  35. $300. Remember i use the headphone output very often.
