  38.     My experience in renting discs has been good.  The discs seem to be pretty
  39. tough, although often the covers aren't in the best of shape.  The only thing
  40. I tend to do is make sure there are not obvious quantities of dust/peanut butter/
  41. other crap on the disc before playing.  An advantage of the LaserDisc is that
  42. you can inspect the _whole_ disc for major problems _before_ using it.
