- My experience in renting discs has been good. The discs seem to be pretty
- tough, although often the covers aren't in the best of shape. The only thing
- I tend to do is make sure there are not obvious quantities of dust/peanut butter/
- other crap on the disc before playing. An advantage of the LaserDisc is that
- you can inspect the _whole_ disc for major problems _before_ using it.
