  13. I have a tape deck in which I have to manually adjust the bias but
  14. since it is  3-head deck, this takes only a few seconds. Besides,
  15. I usually buy blank tape in bulk so once it is set for particular brand,
  16. I don't have to change it for a while. Bias adjustment is only
  17. neccessary when recording, not during playback, so if you buy
  18. a couple of cases of blank tapes at a time, you will still only need to
  19. use BLE once in a while.
