  12. Someone replied (David H. I think...) that the Eq switch only affects
  13. playback.  This may be so on the majority of decks but my Nakamichi CR-3A
  14. gives you the option of recording normal, chrome or metal tapes at either
  15. 70us OR 120us (I rushed home to check my manual :)  Recording a chrome or
  16. metal tape at 120us will add noise but will improve the higher frequency
  17. response.  Not sure what recording a normal tape at 70us will do...
