- The way recently suggested to me was to type "1" at any prompt within the
- group which supposedly takes you back to article 1 of that group. Of course,
- this will long since have vanished in most cases, but you *will* be left
- positioned at the first available article of the group. At this point you
- have to search for a string to find an article in order to find its number:

- /search.string/rah

- where r=search articles already read
- a=search all of the article
- h=search the headers

- (You could just use "a" or "h" if you wanted to be more specific, or quick.)

- If you just want to find the number of the first available article, then
- use a search string that is omnipresent, e.g. /e/rah

- Then you can "step" through the remaining articles by entering the article
- numbers (101, 102, 103, ... etc., assuming the first one you found was 100).
