  11. To send email to a GEnie account, append "@genie.geis.com" to the
  12. recipient's GEnie address.

  14. However, the catch is that GEnie users have to agree to pay an extra
  15. monthly charge before they can send or receive Internet mail.  Not a great
  16. bargain, particularly compared to rival Compuserve -- which is
  17. particularly odd since in most other respects GEnie seems to be going for
  18. the low-price market niche.  (They certainly aren't selling system response.)
