  32. Thank you for posting. I forgot to say that not all systems care
  33. if their users post offensive garbage to Usenet newsgroups
  34. through misuse of mail to news gateways or by sending E-mail.
  35. Compuserve is a classic example of this, which is why I neither
  36. use nor recommend Compuserve, I feel an on-line service that
  37. supports and defends the rights of its users to pollute the net
  38. by posting what is effectively junkmail doesn't deserve support.
  39. Chris has never felt that the traditional "Say something stupid
  40. and off- topic to a Usenet newsgroup and get flamed in posts and
  41. in E-mail" applies to him. If you can't make the Chris Colvins of
  42. the user community go away through requests to root or system or
  43. postmaster, use kill files. Unless you can catch his type at
  44. something actionable. Then... have fun.
