  13. Here's a listing of events for Marlboro, a bit closer than Worcester :-)

  15. Marlboro will celebrate ``Last Night'' on Dec. 31. Admission to
  16. entertainment is by ``Last Night'' buttons, which are available for $3 in
  17. City Hall at the City Clerk's Office or Community Resources on the third
  18. floor. Buttons are also available at Marlboro Cooperative Bank, Marlboro
  19. Savings Bank, WCVT-TV Channel 30, Concannon's, New Horizons Hair Salon,
  20. The Floral Gallery and Stratus Computer.

  22. Events scheduled thus far include sledding and snowman building on Union
  23. Common (if the snow is available) and ice skating in the Central Fire
  24. Station parking lot.

  26. At Immaculate Conception School there will be a party for seniors from 7
  27. p.m. on with entertainment by Frank Mangan from 7 to 9 and the River
  28. Ramblers from 9 until 1 a.m.  The Central Fire Station will feature a Ham
  29. and Bean Supper from 7 to 9 p.m., with entertainment by Lee and Hammond
  30. from 8 to 10 and Tolino from then until midnight.

  32. Trivia Madness will prevail at the Senior Center at 8 p.m. and Frank
  33. Mangan entertains from 10 p.m. Mystic Connection will be at the First
  34. Congregational Church from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by Way Station until 11.

  36. In front of City Hall there will be street entertainment from 8 to
  37. midnight and a Broadway Revue at 8 p.m. and again at 10:30.  An Electric
  38. Light Parade will wend its way down Main Street beginning at 11:30 p.m. at
  39. Monument Square to City Hall, and around to Florence Street and Weed
  40. Street. At midnight the new year will be welcomed with fireworks and bell
  41. ringing.

  43. The button can get you more than just the ``Last Night'' festivities, too.
  44. Showing your button will get you discounts at the following businesses,
  45. usually through January and in some cases through February: Holiday Inn,
  46. Radisson Inn, Best Western Royal Plaza, Pastimes, Flower Basket,
  47. Brite-Kleen Cleaners, Simpson Shoe, Chamber of Commerce (free map of
  48. city), Bumpy's Restaurant, Golden's Dept.  Store and Just 4 U.
