- I have a cousin who works for the court system. She told me that the
- registry cops are "real" cops. They are the ones who give you both the
- written test to get your license, and the actual driving test. These cops
- work mostly at the registry...but can give out tickets if they catch
- you speeding.

- Actually, they do mention it in passing on the am news CH5 during the
- "Smart Routes" report... ;). They could probably still ticket you.
- (Using the old "Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right Ploy," of course.)
- Actually, my speedometer doesn't work...I own a Hyundai [pause for
- ObLaughter]. It broke 4 times and was fixed 3...I refused to go back
- and get it fixed again. I figured that I could just pace myself with
- everyone else...then a friend gifted me with a radar detector...and
- made me promise to give up vehicular weaponry.

- What's lidar? Is this something I should worry about...something my
- detector can't pick up?!
