  13. I've seen at least statewide cops with apparently three different types of
  14. jurisdiction; can anyone shed some light on this to a country bumpkin who
  15. moved down from NH?

  17. Also, why do you call liquor stores "Package Stores"?  Or "Packies", as the
  18. local yokels in Newburyport persist in calling them..

  20. Back to cops for a second: is the "enforced speed of the day" published in the
  21. Globe?  I'm getting annoyed about slowing down when I spot a cop just to then
  22. watch him pass everyone on the right at 75mph.  I've taken to following him at
  23. his speed.  Bad idea?

  27. -not- on and I know that the local constabulary always tries to make a good

  30. Finally, I heard that Beantown Harley pigs were using lidar guns in one of the
  31. downtown tunnels at 10pm the other night, and that there was a whole line of
  32. cars pulled over just past the end.. anyone else seen instances of these Evil
  33. and Unwholesome devices in use?
