  12.   It is probably quite noteworthy that only in the United States would
  13. it be asked,"Why not circumcise". This attitude above all others
  14. demonstartes how culturally biased much of the society is concerning
  15. the pratice.
  16. Yes,some men who are circumcised attempt to dismiss the issue as trivial
  17. or a personal choice for the parents,but this cannot erase the truth that
  18. a growing number of men feel victimized at birth. An infant has no legal
  19. rights and can hardly fight back,indeed an infant feels the pain of
  20. circumcision as one of his first experiences with the world.
  21. If we can welcome girls without pain,why not boys also.

  23. Although much of what has just been said may be flamed as overly
  24. sentemental garbage,the proof of what circumcision actually is is best
  25. tested in societies which do-not perform it or are unfamiliar with it.
  26. I,a number of years ago called our state's child protective services
  27. and described a circumcision in general terms,without actually coining
  28. the word circumcision. She told we what I had described was definately
  29. child abuse and wanted more specifics. After I told her I had just
  30. decribed an event which takes place thousands of time per day in the
  31. U.S.A. and gave it a name;she then abruptly sounded distant and
  32. implied my attitude must be rather strange (in effect I'm wierd).
  33. She then hung up the phone. People,lets open our eyes!
  34. Circumcision is socially sanctioned child abuse without a doubt.
