- Its strange that in YOUR interpretation your son didn't have a "pain"
- cry during circumcision. The American Academy Of Pediatric task force
- report indicates that infants do experience pain during circumcision
- and cites several studies in the appendix. The criteria used were
- blood steriod levels,cry patterns,sleep patterns and maternal-infant
- relationships. Your son must be the exception?
- That infants feel pain during circumcision is scientifically documented
- so it is rather interesting that many pro-circ parents wish to deny it!
- This however is not the ultimate reason for not choosing the circumcision
- option.
