- That's true in cases where toxemia is not expected, but has NOTHING to
- do with what Rob Steele asked.

- Aspirin is slightly too risky to be worth taking in pregnancy if there is
- no strong need for it, but the very low dose aspirin he was talking about
- probably prevents a lot of cases of very dangerous illness and risk of
- death to both mother and baby. (I say `probably' just from the point of
- view of a researcher who hasn't thoroughly reviewed the literature.)

- Aspirin in pregnancy should be taken only under the advice and continuing
- care of a high-risk obstetrician, but for some individuals, it can literally
- be a life-saver.
