- I should have added this to my last post, but I thought of it too late.

- In NC, blue is reserved for law enforcement. EMS and file generally use red or
- red and white, but yellow in the rear is becoming more popular. (I guess that
- is a national trend).

- Yellow is used by pretty much everyone else.

- I have seen green used by security (e. g. Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte),
- but I don't know if it has any special legal status.

- Volunteer EMS and fire personnel are allowed emergency lights on their POVs.
- The top two officer's of a VFD or VRS are allowed sirens.
