  28. my guess is that you won't find good music on 99.5 anymore... They 
  29. started the countdown at 70,000 (the voice synthesizer is of very poor
  30. quality... reminded me of the TRS-80 Model I version from circa 1979?)
  31. Thursday at Midnight after spending all Christmas Eve with some hick
  32. (named "Hugh Chardon"... say it out loud) playing the same Garth Brooks 
  33. song over and over and over, all day, whilst trying to kill/maim/symbolically
  34. destroy the old station mascot, the "FOX".

  36. My s.o. says that the rumor she heard was that WOWF (99.5's new call
  37. letters) has been bought out by a country station and is going to 
  38. be switching to a country format.  UGH.  Just what we need.

  40. When I drove into work this morning about 3 a.m., the countdown was
  41. at somewhere around 25,000... so I'm guessing it'll hit zero sometime
  42. Monday afternoon/evening....
