  12. As I was flipping through the FM band a couple days ago ("seek" is a
  13. wonderful thang), I tuned into 99.5.  At the time, all that was on
  14. 99.5 was some electronic voice counting down from some very large #.
  15. (40,000 or so.)  I thought little of it other to berate myself for
  16. not finding any decent tapes in my car and went on to my search for
  17. good music.

  19. Then, just yesterday, I was in a car with another friend and he tuned
  20. it into 99.5 and asked me if I knew what was going on with the electronic
  21. voice doing the countdown.  I have *no* idea on this one -- if there's
  22. anyone out there in net.land who has any information, please post or
  23. send email.  My curiosity has just been aroused.
