- Brian Casey points out (I missed this) that a completed 710 might
- carry truck traffic from the L.A. harbor to the central valley (via
- the 710/210/5 at Sylmar). I'm sure that's right, and thus the 710
- might become more congested, but this will balance out the load on
- some other freeways--where does Brian think those trucks are driving now?

- Besides, the trucks have to stay in the right lanes, so autos will still
- gain benefit.
