- you might try using Sebastian Kremer <sk@thp.uni-koeln.de>'s dired
- package and Kyle Jones <kyle@crystal.wonderworks.com>'s vm mail
- reading package. both should be in the osu archive (q.v.) and
- together they make your task easy. these only apply to gnu emacs and
- close variants like epoch and lucid emacs as far as i know.
