  11. I am trying to help a Model II user convert TRSDOS 2.0b diskettes to
  12. TRSDOS 2.0a that supports the Model II 8" disk drives.  There is a utility
  13. on these disks called "UNTHIN".   Below are several questions:
  14.  
  15. 1.  Must I type "DO UNTHIN" on a Model 16 or Model 6000 to accomplish this or
  16.     will TRSDOS 2.0b diskettes boot up on a Model II so the user can do this
  17.     himself on his own machine (I don't want to mail him software that won't
  18.     boot due to the difference in floppy drives).

  20. 2.  When I type "DO UNTHIN" or "DO THINLINE" on my Model 16/6000 machines
  21.     the program goes through a 1/2 dozen or so patches and then gives the
  22.     error "string not found - aborting" followed by several dozen approximate
  23.     more patches.  My question is, what the heck is going on here?  Is this
  24.     working?  What is this string error telling me or is this just a normal
  25.     diagnostic junk message?
