- Hi, I'm considering getting an SGI machine. I'm trying to find out if there
- exists a configuration that would satisfy me for under 10K$.
-
- Here's what I would like:
- Hardware: at least 8-bit color double-buffered graphics with Z-buffer.
- 24-32 Meg of memory
- ~1Gig disk
- 19" monitor
- Software: C,C++.
-
- Is there any machine/configuration that will fulfill my price constraint?
- I'm willing to consider used machines if a new one is out of this price
- range.
-
- Is it common for SGI buyers to get memory and disks from 3'rd party vendors?
-
- Thanks much in advance,
- -Sundar
