  12. Another 3.11 problem for everyone to look at....

  15. This time I am having problems getting rprinter to work correctly.  Everything
  16. is set up as the manuals say and I DO get output.  The problem is that if I
  17. print a header, the machine will freeze about  3/4ths of the way through the 
  18. header.  If I print without a header, the machine will print the text and then
  19. lockup when the text is done.  I am routing a small document. (I did a copy 
  20. con test.txt)  The document just has two lines of text so I know there are no
  21. fancy binary problems.  And the job has been sent to the printer via pconsole
  22. and capture methods.  Here is a brief listing of the hardware/software
  23. involved:

  25.         Remote print server  (This is NOT a dedicated print server)
  26.         Epson 386 with 1 meg of ram.
  27.         Printing through the LPT1: 
  28.         Dos is loaded high 
  29.         Stacker 2.0 is also loaded.

  31.         Other than that, I am not loading anything other than the LAN software
  32.         and rprinter.

  34.         The server is a 386-sx with 8 megs ram and is running the pserver.nlm
  35.         program.
