  10. Hi, we are using Btrieve 4.11 as our file manager.  Recently we started getting
  11. file corruption errors on some of our machines.  The machines are starting to
  12. get old (they are AST 286 standalone machines--4 years old).  We have 30 sites
  13. using the same programs and just recently some started getting a Status 2.
  14. I tried using the Butil -save command and depending on where (ie. the record
  15. number) I am able to save some of the records.  If the first record is corrupte
  16. d then I can't save any of the files and must recreate the file.  I tried runni
  17. ng Norton Utilities on the disk (NDD) but it doesn't detect any bad spots.  Doe
  18. s any one have any idea what I can try to test to see if the disk is at fault
  19. or if it is indeed a program causing the corruption.  Are there any utilities I
  20.  can try to get back some of the records?  Thanks in advance.
