- Hi,
-
- I just upgraded my SE/30 to 20MB RAM. What I want to know is if anyone
- has done a performance study for a 20 MB machine to determine the
- optimal size for the Disk Cache? I know that for the CI, Apple recomends
- making it large to keep the applications out of Bank A, so the
- applications
- and built-in video don't have to arbitrate for access to memory. I believe
- the
- SE/30 also uses main memory for video storage, so wouldn't this be true
- for
- the SE/30 as well? Thanks.
