- (sorry if this is a duplicate...)
-
- I recently (within the last 6 months) read an article in the Washington Post
- about software piracy. The article stated that "on June 4, the Senate passed
- S.893, a bill to move the willful copying of a computer program from a
- misdemeanor to a felony, and the bill is expected to be voted on favorably
- by the House, possibly next week."
-
- I was wondering if anyone knows the status of this bill and the possible
- penalties associated with this legislation.
-
- Thanks in advance.
