  13. I can get a fairly good deal on an IBM 'Corsair' 3.5" 1 GB SCSI disk
  14. for my UNIX SVR4 system. This disk is advertised as having a 'fast-scsi'
  15. interface. I have been reading this newsgroup for a long time,
  16. but I still don't know if this 'fast-scsi' disk is compatible with
  17. my ADAPTEC 1542B SCSI controller.

  19. Therefore I would be grateful if someone could answer the following
  20. questions:

  22. 1. Is this IBM Corsair 'fast-scsi' disk compatible with my ADAPTEC 1542B?
  23.    ( I already have the ADAPTEC ROMs that will support > 1GB)

  25. 2. Does this IBM 'Corsair' disk use the standard SCSI 50-pin connections?
