  11. We recently received a shipment of several Micropolis 5.25" 2.4GB SCSI
  12. disks. The power supply on each individual cabinet (1 disk per) says it's 
  13. spec'd for max. 5A draw at 110V. I find it very hard to believe that the 
  14. disks would really ever pull that much current, given that the 1.6GB 5.25" 
  15. disks are around 1-1.5A peak.

  17. The manual that came with them gives all sorts of other information, but
  18. not the actual power usage (it does give heat dissipation, which corresponds
  19. to something less than 1A, but that's average, not spin-up). Does anyone
  20. have this information?
