- Seconded! I have regretted not buying a DAT drive. Now I have about 40
- tapes between 6150 and 6250, and that cost about three times the drive
- itself.

- DAT cartridges, even the data grade ones, can be had for less than half
- the price of QIC ones, and they hold much more, and since DAT drives
- have fast positioning it is convenient to store several archives on the
- same 1.3-2GB cartridge.
