  11. I have a problem with OS/2 programs help not working.

  13. I have installed a number of OS/2 programs in a directory called
  14. c:\OS2TECH\PROGRAMS.  In the settings for the programs, the
  15. executable name of the program and the working directory have
  16. both been set to C:\OS2TECH\PROGRAMS.
  17.  
  18. In the CONFIG.SYS, the C:\OS2TECH\PROGRAMS has been added to the
  19. SET PATH, SET DPATH, and SET HELP entries.  The problem is that
  20. whenever I run a program from the WPS the HELP initialization
  21. fails with messages like, Help Not Available, Help could not be
  22. initialized, Help error 8195, PM Error 2003/0, etc.

  25. The service pack has been installed.  This problem occured with
  26. GA and is still not resolved.

  28. When I run these same programs in an OS/2 window from the C:\>
  29. prompt, they run ok and with the help.
