  11. I've been experiencing a problem with TE/2 when I try to use it with the 
  12. settings: E,7,1.  The program tells me that a connection has been made, but
  13. nothing shows up on the screen.  I've tried hitting the return key, playing
  14. around with duplex, etc. but to no avail.  I do hear the tone from the remote
  15. machine, I just can't get a login prompt.

  17. I have no such problems when I dial with the parity set to none, as most
  18. dial-ins require. There are only a fewl places that I need to dial into where
  19. the parity has to be set to even.

  21. Otherwise, I love TE/2.  I had gotten it from hobbes.nmsu.edu and would like to
  22. register it, if I can get it to work properly.

  24. My hardware is a Gateway 2000 486, 33MHz, 8M RAM, Intel 2400 baud modem
  25. on Com3.
