  12.     I'm trying to recompile the kernel, primarily to take
  13. advantage of my AST board.  I get the following error:

  16. make[2]: *** No way to make target `/usr/include/sys/cdefs.h'. Stop
  17. make[1]: *** [filesystems.a] Error 1

  20.     Anyone have an idea as to *why* it is trying to make an
  21. include file? :)
