  11. No getting any response from console window under X.

  13. I'm using xdm, so all my getty's in inittab are turned off.
  14. After logging into X, I have an iconized console window.
  15. It was started by xconsole (setup by SLS, I didn't
  16. touch the config files). I noticed when I'm not in X, under SLS 99,
  17. I get console messages on the screen (ie, logging in as root).

  19. When under X nothing is going to the console window, it also doesn't
  20. repond to anything when in it. (is this normal?) I tried
  21. running a getty, but when xdm is started up, I can't login,
  22. it doesn't respond to any keyboard input.
