- I believe the Coherent crowd is too diverse for just one drive or the other.
- I think this is where Coherent differs from other nix'es. Cost IS of
- consequence and for some it means the difference between tape/no-tape.
- For others, the floppy tape will ultimately cost more due to
- slow speed and higher rate of failure.

- We need both floppy type and SCSI.

- further, in order to better meet the more critical demands of those who
