  37. I believe the Coherent crowd is too diverse for just one drive or the other.
  38. I think this is where Coherent differs from other nix'es. Cost IS of
  39. consequence and for some it means the difference between tape/no-tape.
  40. For others, the floppy tape will ultimately cost more due to
  41. slow speed and higher rate of failure.

  43. We need both floppy type and SCSI.

  45. It also sounds the SCSI device drivers need to be optimized
  46. further, in order to better meet the more critical demands of those who
  47. need to use SCSI in the first place.

  49. I'd rather use SCSI, because of the variety of devices available, and
  50. because I can mount so many on a single driver. But I too have a floppy
  51. type budget.
