  11. Here's a problem that cropped up with the latest patch (17) for Elm 2.4:

  13. When forewarding a message and selecting "n" when asked if you want to
  14. edit the outgoing message, ELM insists on prepending the 'greater than'
  15. sign (>) to each line. This is very undesirable and greping through the
  16. docs has not revealed any voodoo that has changed that is making this
  17. happen.

  19. On occasion I foreward source or shell archives to people and having
  20. that pesky > at the beginning of each line is a royal pain. The
  21. inevitable question is: bug or feature? And, can it be turned off? 
  22. Prior to this patch there would be no > under the conditions stated
  23. above.
