  12. I live on a system with limited diskspace per user (1MB). Is it possible
  13. to get elm to compress/uncompress folders? I haven't thought this through
  14. yet, but it sounds nice. Offhand I can think of these ways:

  16.     - If a named folder doesn't exist, look for folder.Z
  17.     - When writing to a folder.Z, compress and append
  18.     - When reading from a folder, read and uncompress
  19.     - When opening a folder , uncompress is totally and use it
  20.       remembering the previous state
  21.     - When closing it again, auto-compress it
  22.  
  23. Maybe there are better ways of doing this. It just would be nice to keep
  24. diskusage down and still have full folders on the system...
