- The CSC-C2MECx card is a version 5.1 MEC board running 10.0 microcode. So to
- answer your questions directly:
-
- 1) See above.
-
- 2) No. You must run 10.0 ucode MEC boards in a system with C2CCTL.
-
- 3) No. When using C2CCTL, all the Cbus boards must be at least 10.0 ucode or
- higher.
-
- 4) Yes. You can order the 10.0 ucode upgrade for MEC 5.1 version boards by
- contacting you local sales rep or Customer Service at 800-553-NETS.
-
- Since the MEC 5.1 can accomodate both 10.x and 2.x microcode, the same boards
- could be stocked to support both environments. The obvious corollary to this
- is that you would need to stock the appropriate amounts of the various levels
- of microcode for your needs.
-
- One side note....please see the answer to question 3 above. Once C2CCTL is
- installed, ALL Cbus boards must be at version 10.x or higher microcode.
-
- I hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or need
- more information, please feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone at the
- numbers below.
