  17. What's the syntax for specifying that a router send a ping to a specific
  18. address using SNMP, or is this not possible??  I have a decidely old version
  19. of the cisco _private_ MIB vars, and it lists "ping" but doesn't give any
  20. other info.  I'll be using a command line driven SNMP query generator and I
  21. need to feed it the ASN.1 description of the variable I want...
  22. From the MIB description I have it would be
  23. _iso_org_dod_internet_private_enterprises_cisco_local_lsystem_ping_<instanceid>
  24. I assume the instance ID would be simple "0", and that in setting the var I
  25. would "set" it to the ip address I wanted to ping.  But that doesn't really
  26. make sense as the var type is INTEGER.  If I use the ip address I want to
  27. ping as the instance identifier, what integer value do I send to set it??
