  25.         plainte is that the "lingua franca" of the internet is
  26.         English. The "lingua franca" of just about everything is
  27.         English.

  29.         That's why, even though my milk-tongue is French and I was
  30.         brought up Quebecois, I'm happy I got my family out in '68. We
  31.         not only missed all the juvenile crap, we got to take part in
  32.         the growth of Quebec's greatest gift to Central Canada: Toronto.

  34.         BTW: If you find all this banter personally insulting rather
  35.         than overly-broad slurs about Quebecois in general; we have a
  36.         saying that goes "If the shoe fits, make sure le chat hasn't
  37.         left you un p'tit cadeau."  :-)
