  16. But Torkel, he *has* to claim that deep belief deserves respect, otherwise
  17. he's on a very sticky wicket with his own beliefs which have absolutely
  18. nothing going for them except conviction in their irrationality. Unless
  19. he affords the same respect to the opposition, he has no moral high ground
  20. to occupy to ram his own holier than thou shit down our throats.
