- Subject: Calling winhelp with keywords
- Lines: 19
-
- I'm calling winhelp (from Micro-Emacs for Windows, but that's not
- really very relevant) with an optional keyword which puts me directly
- into the help topic. This works OK, but only if the keyword is matched
- exactly, so if "authors" exists as a keyword, "author" just gives me
- an "invalid keyword" message.
-
- Is it possible to tell winhelp to behave as if I typed in the keyword
- from the search menu? What I would like is to get to the Search
- pop-up box, with the first match highlighted.
-
- Sorry if this is in the programming guides somewhere. I have figured
- out how to create winhelp files, but have stayed away from
- programming, apart from the interface of meWin.
