  24. Happy Holidays!  We are still developing our new ListServ for the
  25. Germans from Russia established via the North Dakota State University
  26. Computer Center, Fargo, North Dakota.

  28. I am interested to know who is reading this ListServ and if it is reaching
  29. our electronic mail readers throughout America.  The reason for the
  30. establishment for the ListServ is the growing need to have immediate
  31. communications with family historians and Germans from Russia researchers
  32. throughout the world.  The development of the ListServ comes from NDSU
  33. since the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection is one of the largest
  34. ethnic collections on the German-Russians in America.  The other two
  35. large collections are at the American Historical Society of Germans from
  36. Russia, 631 D Street, Lincoln, NE 68502 and at the Germans from Russia
  37. Russia Heritage Society, 1008 E. Central Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58501.  We
  38. are the official repository for GRHS established in 1978.  Our collection
  39. concentrates in the Black Sea and Bessarabian Germans.  The heritage makes
  40. up a major ethnic population in North Dakota.

  42. I will be interviewed on Prairie Public Television, Fargo, ND which is carried
  43. throughout North Dakota, Winnipeg, Manitoba, parts of Minnesota and South
  44. Dakota.  The program is called Prairie News Journal - 8pm Friday, 20
  45. December and 5pm Sunday, 22 December 1991.  In Fargo it is Channel 13 -
  46. Prairie Public TV.  For persons not able to view the program we will have
  47. video tapes available.

  49. I will be interviewed regarding the letters from Russia that we have been
  50. receiving since June of 1991 from our Soviet German people.
