- I was just looking through the phone book, and noticed that Taxis Australia,
- advertise in the Yellow pages, as dialing "13CABS" i.e. 132227. Somewhere
- recently, it was pointed out to me, that IBM's national number is 131IBM.

- THis is all, of course, using the U.S. scheme for phone key labellings i.e.
- 2-ABC, 3-DEF etc. When I was in the U.S., I found this great, I new I could
- call, 1-800-DIGITAL for computer sales, or 1-800-BASSPRO for fishing equipment,
- and so on.

- I'd like to see lettered keypads introduced in Australia, if for nothing else,
- to make Mnemonic phone number easier.
