  11. I was just looking through the phone book, and noticed that Taxis Australia,
  12. advertise in the Yellow pages, as dialing "13CABS" i.e. 132227. Somewhere
  13. recently, it was pointed out to me, that IBM's national number is 131IBM.

  15. THis is all, of course, using the U.S. scheme for phone key labellings i.e.
  16. 2-ABC, 3-DEF etc. When I was in the U.S., I found this great, I new I could
  17. call, 1-800-DIGITAL for computer sales, or 1-800-BASSPRO for fishing equipment,
  18. and so on.

  20. I'd like to see lettered keypads introduced in Australia, if for nothing else,
  21. to make Mnemonic phone number easier.
