- Ah Duhhh! Bill we're not talking about a choice between classes that teach
- homosexuality as something evil and classes that teach it as a something
- good. We're talking about the choice between not teaching it at all and
- teaching one set of values.
-
- If the person you're responding to doesn't have the right to force their
- values on anyone, why are you insisting that you do have the right to
- force your values on others? That's exactly what a program like Children
- of the Rainbow does, it teaches the values that the gay community wants
- taught, it forces children to accept the values (that gays are the moral
- equivelant of hets in all respects) of the gay community in order to pass
- the course and it forces parents to accept their children being taught values
- that they often don't share.
-
- NO ONE, not one single person that I've ever heard, has ever advocated the
- teaching gay bashing or gay bias in the public schools. The issue is
- whether no vaules will be taught on the matter or whether the values
- of homosexuals will be forced on children against the wishes of their parents.
-
- The issue isn't nearly and murky or clouded as the gay right activist and
- those that support "tolerance" course would like us to believe. They would
- like people to miss the fact that it is they that are insisting of state
- enforcement of their values on society as a whole, and not the people that
- oppose these programs.
